Meet Denny Roehrig

“Aside from being known for great tasting products, the Arps Dairy name has also long been associated with a level of quality that can only come from local family farms and those good family times sitting around the breakfast or dinner table together.

Denny Roehrig is Arps Dairy’s Vice President of Production and a part owner of Arps Dairy.  As Vice President of Production, Denny is responsible for scheduling production runs, managing the continuous supply of incoming raw milk, working with key staff to ensure both quality and personnel needs are met, and working with suppliers.  As a part owner, Denny brings to the ownership team a wealth of dairy processing information and is a key decision maker in important decisions that affect the production process.

Growing up in Defiance, Ohio, Denny has been familiar with the Arps Dairy name since his childhood.  Arps Dairy, “has always been a common name known for great tasting products,”  Denny stated.  When Denny thinks of Arps Dairy, he thinks of taste, quality and family.  “Aside from being known for great tasting products,” Denny continued, “The Arps Dairy name has also long been associated with a level of quality that can only come from local family farms and those good family times sitting around the breakfast or dinner table together.”  It wasn’t until Denny grew his career within Arps; however, that he also realized there was a sense of family within the organization itself.  “Arps is built around relationships,” Denny stated.  “From our employees to our suppliers and customers, there is a sense of shared commonalities for a greater good that makes up the organizational family.”

Denny recalls that what initially drew him to Arps was the fact that it was a local job with a company that was well respected by the community.  As Denny grew his career and understanding of the equipment, he boasts that now he can pick up on equipment problems just by sound.  “I can be walking through the plant, or on the other side of the facility and hear a particular noise and know that it is not a typical noise and that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.”

Denny would like the community to know that, “Arps Dairy has always been a big part of my life, and I have a passion for supplying the community with the best tasting products”.

As part of National Dairy Month, Arps Dairy will donate to Denny a ‘Dairy Care Package’, which Denny plans to pass along to the Path Center to assist them in their mission of supplying healthy foods to those in need.

Arps Dairy is certainly blessed to have Denny at the helm of production.
